Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Codecasa Studios (“we”, “us”, “our”) covering your use of Nova — the AI chat product at chatwithnova.ai and any related apps (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using Nova, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Nova.
• You’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything that happens under your account. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You’ll provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. One person, one account — don’t share credentials.

You keep ownership of whatever you type into Nova (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process Your Content as needed to run Nova — for example, sending your prompts to the model provider you selected and showing the response back to you.

You are responsible for Your Content. Don’t submit anything you don’t have the right to share, and don’t rely on AI output as professional (legal, medical, financial, etc.) advice.

You agree not to use Nova to:

• Break the law or violate anyone’s rights, including privacy and IP rights.
• Generate or distribute content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative of minors, or that promotes violence or self-harm.
• Attempt to compromise the Service — probing, scraping, overloading, or reverse engineering beyond what the law permits.
• Bypass rate limits, resell access, share accounts, or automate the Service in a way that disrupts normal usage.
• Build a competing product using the Service, or use it to create training data for models without our written permission.
• Use the Service for high-stakes automated decisions (medical diagnosis, legal judgments, critical infrastructure) without independent human review.

The third-party model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Alibaba, etc.) also have their own usage policies, and you agree to follow them when interacting with their models through Nova.

• Signup bonus. Each new account gets a one-time allowance of 20 tokens. There is no daily reset — once those are spent, you need to buy more to keep chatting.
• Paid top-ups. Additional tokens are sold through Stripe in fixed bundles and never expire. 1 token = 1 message on any model; multi-model prompts spend 1 token per model. Prices, currencies, and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
• Your own key. You may paste your own OpenRouter API key in Settings to use your own quota; in that case, any charges on that key are between you and OpenRouter.
• We may adjust quotas, introduce fair-use limits, or change pricing with reasonable notice. Abuse (for example, running scripts to burn through tokens) may result in account suspension.

Nova produces responses using third-party AI models. Output may be inaccurate, biased, incomplete, or offensive. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any output for any particular purpose. Use your judgment and verify important information.

We work to keep Nova running smoothly, but we provide the Service “as is” and “as available”. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may pause or discontinue the Service or specific models at any time — ideally with notice, but not always.

You can stop using Nova and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or if we’re required to do so by law. If we terminate your account for cause, you won’t be entitled to a refund of any unused token allowance.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Codecasa Studios, its affiliates, nor its suppliers will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limitations; in that case, they apply to you only to the extent permitted.

You agree to defend and indemnify Codecasa Studios against claims arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are material, we’ll let you know in the app or by email where possible before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes go live means you accept the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Codecasa Studios is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless local law grants you rights to use your home courts.
